This issue of Open House, edited by Julie Clague and Nicola James, celebrates the richness of Christianity and its many traditions. It explores all things ecumenical and finds that, across Britain, ecumenism is flourishing.

Julie Clague lectures in Catholic theology at the University of Glasgow, where Christianity has been taught since before the Reformation. Today, students of all faiths and none study and discuss Christian theology together.

Nicola James is a Quaker and has been a counsellor in public service for over thirty years. In 2016 she graduated from Glasgow University with a doctorate in Theology and the Arts, where she also served as Honorary Quaker Chaplain. She has two grown up children.
