Regular readers of Open House will have read the article by Michael Connolly about his research into the life of Brother Walfrid (October/November edition). He aimed to produce a complete, birth-to-grave historical biography of the life of Walfrid, his life and legacy, and the social and cultural identities of the multi-generational Irish Catholic diaspora in Scotland and further afield.

The result is now available and published in Walfrid: A Life of Faith, Community and Football. The 16 page appendix demonstrate the breadth of the research which lies behind it.
